DESIGNING FOR CHANGE
FIVE-WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES
This workshop series, hosted in partnership with The Idea Center at Miami-Dade College, is based on design thinking methodology, a tool used to build meaningful products. You will learn to use the key elements of design thinking to solve everyday obstacles and opportunities, using real-life scenarios. You will identify challenges that are interesting to you and, through the practice of empathy, learn how to interview potential users to understand their needs. You will then create potential solutions through rapid prototyping, which is an iterative approach used in developing human-centered products and services. You will then have the opportunity to test your concept and collect real feedback from your target audience.
LIVE CLASSROOM SETTING
Join your peers in-person for this live intensive course. Participants will receive breakfast and lunch, a digital workbook for weekly workshop materials, and access to mentors and experts for validating ideas.
*Discounted rate available for Miami Dade College students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Please email Miriam Kohel at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
